John Seay named Associate Member of the Year by the Memphis Restaurant Association

Memphis-based total protection company State Systems today announced that John Seay, general manager of its Cleaning Services Department, won the Memphis Restaurant Association’s Associate Member of the Year award.

Seay has been a member of MRA since 2003 and has served on the board since 2012. In his current role at State Systems, Seay works closely with clients in the food service industry. John’s accomplishments as general manager include improved profitability, increasing sales by more than 400 percent, and superior quality control, by reducing quality errors by 80 percent. Seay previously worked as a management consultant at RF Taylor & Company and an operations manager at FedEx.

“While we at State Systems are well aware of the impact of John’s work in the food service industry in Memphis, we’re especially proud to see peers at the Memphis Restaurant Association recognize his contributions through this honor,” said Bob McBride, president of State Systems. “Most of John’s work happens behind the scenes to ensure the safety of hundreds of food service employees in our area, so it’s important that this award publicly recognizes his efforts.”
