State Systems acquires operations of Dunk Fire and Security in Conway, Arkansas

Acquisition expands State Systems’ presence in greater Little Rock market

Memphis-based total protection company State Systems Inc. today announced the acquisition of Dunk Fire and Security’s Conway, Arkansas, operations. Dunk Fire and Security is a premier provider of fire sprinkler and alarm systems in Northwest Arkansas. This marks the company’s second acquisition in 2016 and fourth in the past 18 months.

Dunk Fire and Security was founded in 2005 by Ken and Rose Dunk and has since offered life and property protection services in the greater Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas markets.  The company is headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas. Effective immediately, State Systems will absorb the 16 Conway employees and assets and will begin servicing customers in Conway and surrounding areas. Ken Dunk continues to own and operate Dunk Fire and Security’s Springdale-based business.

State Systems opened its office in Little Rock in October 2015, which expanded the company’s reach by a 200-mile radius. Now, the company will bring additional low voltage and fire protection services to customers served by the Conway office.
