Memphis-based total protection company expands farther across Mid-South
Memphis-based total protection company State Systems Inc. recently opened a new office in Little Rock, Arkansas, expanding the company’s reach to a 200-mile radius.
With the city’s close proximity to Memphis and similar market demographics, State Systems pinpointed Little Rock as a prime area for development and expansion. With the recent hire of Sandi Scott, a total protection expert with more than eight years of experience in the field, Bob McBride, president of State Systems, knew it was time to make the leap.
“With an established presence in eastern Arkansas, expanding to Little Rock was the next probable step forward after adding Sandi to our team,” McBride said. “This new location will allow us to better serve our existing Arkansas customers, as well as grow new businesses in the area.”
State Systems Little Rock will offer inspections and installation of fire alarm systems , as well as products and services including video surveillance and access control, security, exit lighting, clean agent fire suppression and extinguishing systems. The company anticipates adding installation and service of sprinkler systems and fire alarms in the near future as part of its plan to offer all services and products that the Memphis location currently provides to customers.
The company has already seen success in the new market. They have increased their sales staff to meet the demands of the marketplace, and the company secured a new vendor partnership with EST Edwards specific for the Little Rock location. State Systems will be focusing on business with school districts, health care facilities, nursing homes, manufacturing providers and commercial buildings.
This expansion comes after recent acquisitions of two Mid-South total protection companies – Memphis-based ESI Companies Inc. and Corinth, Mississippi-based Ver-Max Inc. – earlier this year.
